My solar hot water system was installed a few months ago. I was thrilled to be able to access solar hot water through the service agreement option with Earth Utility, as it was otherwise unaffordable for me. With three teenagers in the house who are partial to frequent, extended, hot showers I've noticed a huge change in my electricity bill already. I would recommend Earth Utility to anyone interested in having affordable solar power. The Earth Utility staff were very friendly and the paperwork was simple and straight forward. The whole process was very smooth.

We were attracted to the no upfront cash offer. We felt that we were dealing with a company that is genuine with their approach to sustainability. The service was personalised and the quality of the product has proven to be a positive move. We have nothing but praise for it.

The decision to go for a Solar Hot Water system when our existing electric system failed was really a "no brainer" from all aspects. The cost of replacing with a similar system would have cost us around $1400. The cost of a Earth Utility solar system is around $2000 after State Govt Rebate (SGR) and reduces further for those entitled to the Federal Govt Rebate (FGR) of $1000 (means tested). According to my calculations, for those who are currently on "off peak" rates, the annual savings would around $150 per annum and that's a payback of only around 4 years for those not entitled to the FGR. In addition, there is also the "feel good" factor of contributing towards the environment of using renewable energy.
I have found the Customer Service at Earth Utility to be very good and the installer (Eddie) was excellent. He was not your average tradesman who is interested in a "quick fix and off to the next job ..." He took his time and made sure that the system was installed properly to give us long term benefit. Earth Utility delivered on all their promises.
Based on my experience, I will certainly recommend Earth Utility to my friends and family.
